This policy explains what ALPHA collects, why, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it. ALPHA is a trading terminal: you connect your own account at a crypto exchange, and we place the orders you instruct on that account.

We never take custody of your funds. Your money stays in your own exchange account. ALPHA connects to it using API keys that you provide, and can place the orders you ask for. We cannot withdraw funds.

1. What we collect

Account details

Name, email address, mobile number, and city / state / country, given when you register. Your password and, if you enable it, your quick-login PIN are stored only as one-way hashes — we cannot read either of them.

Exchange API credentials

The API key, API secret and broker user ID for the exchange account you connect (Delta Exchange, CoinDCX or Shark). These are needed to read your balance and to place the orders you instruct.

Trading activity

Orders placed through ALPHA, and the positions, balances and history we read back from your exchange to display and to build your trade journal. Also your risk rules, daily loss limits and position-sizing settings.

App preferences

Display currency, theme, chart layout, indicators, saved symbols and drawings.

Device and diagnostics

A push notification token so we can alert you about your own trades, and crash diagnostics (device model, operating system version, and the technical stack trace) when the app fails.

AI feature content

When you use the AI Chart Analyzer, AI Live Analyzer, AI Assistant or Journal Coach: the chart image you upload or capture, the market data for that symbol, your recent trade history where relevant, and the conversation itself.

2. Why we use it

To sign you in and keep your account secure.
To connect to your exchange and execute the orders you place.
To show your live balance, positions, orders and trade journal.
To apply the risk limits you set.
To send you notifications about your own trades.
To generate the AI analysis you request.
To find and fix crashes and faults.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Each of these processes data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Account, broker and trading data — while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal or accounting obligations.
AI analysis history — the 30 most recent analyses per tool; older ones are deleted automatically.
Crash diagnostics — retained by Firebase under Google’s retention schedule.
Push tokens — removed when you log out or uninstall.

5. How we protect it

All traffic between the app, the website and our servers uses HTTPS.
Passwords and PINs are stored as bcrypt hashes and are never recoverable.
Your exchange API key and secret are never sent to your phone or browser. They stay on our servers, which pass them directly to our trading engine.
Access to our servers and database is restricted to authorised personnel.
PIN unlock, and a lockout after repeated wrong attempts, protect the app on a lost or shared device.

No system is perfectly secure. You can remove your API keys from ALPHA at any time in Settings, and you can revoke them at your exchange.

6. Your choices and rights

See or correct your details in Settings, or ask us.
Delete your broker connection yourself in Settings at any time.
Delete your account and its data — contact us and we will erase it, other than records we must keep by law.
Turn off notifications in your device settings.

7. Children

ALPHA is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Not financial advice

ALPHA is a tool. Signals, indicators and AI output are information, not investment advice or a recommendation. Trading leveraged crypto derivatives carries a high risk of loss, including of your entire balance. Your trading decisions and their outcomes are yours.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be notified in the app.
